The only thing I’ve ever wanted to hear from my parents is that they are proud of me. I’ve grown, all on my own. Never once did my parents tell me not to drink, do drugs, or not have sex. Never did my parents have any desire to raise me in a christian home. Today, almost 19 years of age, I am a strong believer of God, I do not drink, I do not do drugs, and I have never had sex.
